Tres días encerrados en un pub inglés por la nieve mientras celebraban la Nochevieja

Los treinta clientes que celebraban la llegada del Año Nuevo en el pub Tan Hill Inn de Yorkshire (Reino Unido) alargaron involuntariamente la celebración durante tres días por culpa de la tormenta de nieve. La abundante provisión de comida y bebida hizo ciertamente digerible el encierro en el que es el pub a más altura del país (tampoco es para tanto: 520 metros sobre el nivel del mar).

Según el pinchadiscos residente, Peter Richardson, durante el encierro se vivió un ambiente de gran camaradería, con los celebrantes participando en la limpieza del local, la preparación de la comida y el mantenimiento del generador mientras los copos caían tenazmente en el exterior.

Los clientes, que habían llegado al Tan Hill desde varios puntos del país, pudieron empezar la retirada hoy domingo, cuando los quitanieves despejaron las carreteras circundantes.
